Gaming Regulatory Authority
The Mille Lacs Band Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA) is an independent agency of tribal government dedicated to ensuring fair, responsible, and compliant gaming on Mille Lacs Band lands. We uphold integrity by providing clear standards and accountability, separating regulatory oversight from gaming management to protect the interests of the Band and its members.
Our role is rooted in partnership and trust. We’re here to guide, inform, and collaborate. By upholding the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, Title 15 of the Mille Lacs Band Statutes, tribal and state compacts, and Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs), we create a secure and trusted environment for gaming operations. Together, we strive to maintain standards that reflect the values of the Mille Lacs Band, strengthen accountability, and build confidence in every aspect of gaming.
Our Mission Statement: We are dedicated to providing protection, value, and regulatory excellence in gaming for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe. By making these resources accessible, we strive to uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in all gaming operations.

Would you like to speak with the GRA Board?
You can request to appear at an upcoming meeting by submitting your request at least three days in advance. Be sure to include a brief description of your concern and any supporting materials.
