Project Description
The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, Department of Natural Resources (MLB DNR) office will be accepting lump sum proposals for demolition of existing fence and installation of new fence located at 12423 380th St, Onamia, MN 56359

General Information:
A mandatory site visit is required by all contractors planning to submit a proposal. The site visit will take place on March 4th 2026 at 10:00am.

Scope of Work:

• Demolition of old fence with exception of the newer gate.
  -- Including all building materials, fencing, post and other identified materials need to disposed of in the proper manner.
• Installation of new 96” tall woven wire fence that is outlined by NRCS specifications.
• No equipment will be provided. All equipment required to complete the scope of work must be supplied by the vendor.
• In addition, the contractor is responsible for:
  -- For securing all required permits and notifications as required by law.
  -- All fees for such permits and notifications
  -- Copies of such permits and notifications shall be provide to MLB DNR, County, State, and EPA if needed

Required Proposal Content:
All proposals shall include the following:

• Itemized cost for demolitions, filling of areas, and any permit/notification costs
• Estimate of days required to full fill scope of work
• Detailed plan of site safety and security during scope of work

Bidding Notes
All proposals shall include the following:

• Copy of current Mille Lacs Band Vendor’s License (or a copy of submitted application)
• Copy of current Certificate of Insurance for Commercial Liability of $1 million and Design Professional Liability of $2 million
• W-9
• Copy of an authorized signature sheet if one is not already on file with the Mille Lacs Band
• List of Subcontractors
• Any other information specific to the project as stated in the RFP

Proposals are due on March 20th, 2026 by 3:00pm.

Please note that all proposals must be submitted via mail to the P.O. Box. FedEx and UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box and the Onamia post office will not accept hand delivered items. Please plan accordingly to ensure the timely receipt of your proposal submittal.

PROPOSALS NOT SUBMITTED IN THIS MANNER WILL BE REJECTED.
