THIS IS NOT AN ORDER NOR A DIRECTION TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK DESCRIBED HEREIN.

Project Description:
The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, Department of Natural Resources (MLB DNR) office will be accepting lump sum proposals for demolition at 14669 State Highway 27, Onamia, MN 56359.

General Information:
A mandatory site visit is required by all contractors planning to submit a proposal. The site visit will take place on April 8th 2026 at 10:00 am.

Scope of Work:

• Demolition of identified buildings/slabs
  • Including all building materials, building contents, and other identified materials
• Fill to grade area of removal/demolition and finish with topsoil
• Proper well abandonment/closures with paperwork
• Proper septic abandonment/closure with paperwork
• In addition, the contractor is responsible for:
  • For securing all required permits and notifications as required by law.
  • All fees for such permits and notifications
  • Copies of such permits and notifications shall be provide to MLB DNR County, State, and EPA if needed
  • Upon completion of work copies of abandonment and closure forms, receipts/logs from qualified landfill(s) where all materials were brought must be provided to MLB DNR

Required Proposal Content:
All proposals shall include the following:

• Itemized cost for building demolitions, filling of areas, and any permit/notification costs
• Itemized cost for wells and septic closures
• Estimate of days required to full fill scope of work
• Detailed plan of site safety and security during scope of work

Bidding Notes
All proposals shall include the following:

• Consulting Firm’s Proposal
• Copy of current Mille Lacs Band Vendor’s License (or a copy of submitted application)
• Copy of current Certificate of Insurance for Commercial Liability of $1 million and Design Professional Liability of $2 million
• W-9
• List of Subcontractors, if any
• Any other information specific to the project as stated in the RFP

Proposals are due on Tuesday April 14th by 3:00pm

Please note that all proposals must be submitted via mail to the P.O. Box. FedEx and UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box and the Onamia post office will not accept hand delivered items. Please plan accordingly to ensure the timely receipt of your proposal submittal.

PROPOSALS NOT SUBMITTED IN THIS MANNER WILL BE REJECTED.
