The Band’s Department of Natural Resources develops and implements fish, wildlife, wild rice, and forestry improvement activities and regulates hunting, fishing and gathering on the reservation. It also provides services such as conservation enforcement, environmental protection, natural resource permits, historical preservation, and Ojibwe cultural programming.
